I am a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Data Science and Analytics Thrust and the Internet of Things Thrust, Information Hub, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). I also hold an affiliated position at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Clear Water Bay).

I received my PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China, advised by Prof. Jianwei Huang. Before joining HKUST-GZ, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Northwestern University, Evanston, USA, advised by Prof. Randall Berry and Prof. Ermin Wei.

Research Interests:
My research focuses on interdisciplinary areas of artificial intelligence, network systems, and network economics, with a current emphasis on trustworthy learning and efficient coordination in distributed environments.
  • Artificial intelligence: machine unlearning, multi-agent coordination and game, federated learning.
  • Network system: Internet of Things (IoT), sharing platform.
  • Network economics: data trading, LLM mechanism design.
